2012.02.24 International Students Group Insurance Public Hearing

Dear Students:

You are kindly informed to join International Students Group Insurance Public Hearing at 12:30 p.m. on Feb 24. The public hearingwill be taken place in both campuses (Taipei: E401 / Taoyuan: P101). Every International student is requested to join the group insurance before enrollingin National Health Insurance (NHI), based on Article 21 of MOE Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan.

Article 21 When registering with their intendedinstitutions, new international students must attach medical and injury insurance policies, which they purchased in foreign countries, covering a validperiod of no less than 4 months starting from the day when they entered Taiwan.　Returning international students must attach policies regarding Taiwan national health insurance and other pertinent coverage plans.

The foregoing insurance policies purchased in foreign countries must be authenticated by a Taiwan's overseas representative office.
